chasing the sun
My friend (and former neighbor) Pat and I took a mini-roadtrip a few months ago, just to get out of town, and get some wind in our hair. After the very wet spring and early summer that we had, we needed to find some sun! So we toured up to Longview, Washington to see what we could see. Pat and I found a little park on the edge of the Columbia River, and it was great! Lots of room to play, lots of driftwood, and of course the ever elusive SUN! :)
On the way to Longview, we headed up through Hockinson, and Pat all of a sudden screamed "STOP!" We turned around and drove up a driveway, and found this awesome view of Mt. St. Helens! Great spot Pat!! :)
We stayed and played and took some pics of boats, driftwood and the beautiful clouds that our Northwest early summer day provided.
